Music

At present, music at Blackford and Grange is largely the preserve of the Church choir and Organist, whose function is to embellish the singing during the service on Sunday mornings and at Christmas etc. Although the choir is currently quite small, averaging 15 to 20 singers on any given Sunday, it is remarkably proficient, and accomplished relative to its numbers; and comprises the full range of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.

Weekly rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings at 9.15am for an hour (when necessary a little earlier and longer). After a 15-minute coffee break, the service follows at 10.30am for roughly an hour.
