New Leaf Co-op Wholefoods – Check website for opening days and hours. Can shop online via their website and collect food from shop. Stockbridge and Leith’s local markets are re-opening virtually on NeighbourFood – an online community which allows you to order food and produce from your favourite Farmers’ Market and then pick it up. La Boulange Bakery  (La Barantine) at 10 Bruntsfield Place is re-opening from Monday 4th May from 9am – 1pm Monday – Saturday selling artisan bread pastries and cakes.

Hill-Lord & Co pet shop at 35 Bruntsfield Place are open from 10am – 4pm Monday  – Saturday and deliver locally. They have a wide range of  items for  a wide range of pets. Call 0131 229 6655 to order. 

Veterinary practices are asking that you phone them if you have concerns about your pets and they will do their best to advise you and if necessary make an appointment for you to be seen by a vet. Please do not let any animal suffer unnecessarily.

Recycling

Kerbside glass collections (blue boxes) have been reinstated as have  brown garden waste bins from 12th May – check your collection dates on the council website.

Bonfires/burning of garden waste has been banned for the foreseeable future to help keep the air as clean as possible for those with lung conditions.
